By downloading, installing, registering for, or using the Nigama Connect application, you ("User") enter into a legally binding agreement with Nigama Connect Private Limited ("Company"). Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using the App.

Section 1: Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, registering for, or using the Nigama Connect application, you ("User") enter into a legally binding agreement with Nigama Connect Private Limited ("Company"). These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the App and all related services offered through the Nigama Connect platform, including but not limited to family tree management, community networking, matrimony matching, classifieds, events, and real-time chat.

By providing your mobile number during registration and clicking "Agree & Continue", you explicitly acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions in their entirety. These Terms apply to all versions of the Nigama Connect application, whether accessed on Android or iOS devices.

If you do not agree to these Terms & Conditions, please do not download, register for, or use the Nigama Connect application.

These Terms & Conditions, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire legal agreement between you and Nigama Connect Private Limited. These terms are governed by the laws of India.

Section 2: User Eligibility & Registration

To use Nigama Connect, you must meet all of the following eligibility requirements at the time of registration and throughout your use of the App:

• You must be at least 18 years of age, or the legally permitted age to use community networking and matchmaking services under applicable laws in your jurisdiction.
• You must provide accurate, complete, and truthful information during registration, including your real name, a valid mobile number, and your correct date of birth.
• You must keep your registration information up-to-date and promptly correct any inaccuracies in your profile.
• You must not have been previously suspended or permanently terminated from the Nigama Connect platform for violating these Terms or any prior version thereof.
• You must have the full legal capacity to enter into a binding contractual agreement under applicable law.
• You must not be impersonating any other person or entity, whether real or fictitious, during registration or at any point of use.

Registration with false or misleading information constitutes a material breach of these Terms and may result in immediate account suspension and legal action where warranted.

Section 3: Account Responsibility & Security

You are solely and entirely responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of your Nigama Connect account credentials, including your registered mobile number, OTP access, and any associated passwords. The following specific responsibilities apply to your account:

• Credential Security: You must not share your login credentials, OTPs, or access tokens with any other person under any circumstances. You are fully responsible for all activities conducted under your account, whether or not authorized by you.
• Unauthorized Access Reporting: You must notify Nigama Connect Private Limited immediately upon discovering or suspecting any unauthorized use of your account, any breach of your password or security, or any other security incident involving your account.
• Device Security: You are responsible for securing all devices on which you access Nigama Connect. We strongly recommend using screen locks, biometric authentication (fingerprint or face recognition), and keeping your device's operating system and the Nigama Connect app updated to the latest version.
• Shared Devices: If you access the Nigama Connect application on a shared or public device, you must ensure that you fully log out of your account after every session. Nigama Connect Private Limited is not responsible for any unauthorized access resulting from your failure to log out on a shared device.
• Account Non-Transferability: Your Nigama Connect account is strictly personal to you and may not be transferred, sold, gifted, assigned, or otherwise provided to any other person or entity under any circumstances.
• Single Account Policy: Each user is permitted to maintain only one active account on the Nigama Connect platform. Creating multiple accounts for the same individual is prohibited and may result in all associated accounts being suspended.

Nigama Connect Private Limited will not be liable for any loss, damage, or harm arising from your failure to maintain the security and confidentiality of your account credentials.

Section 4: Prohibited Conduct

Users of Nigama Connect are strictly prohibited from engaging in any of the following activities while using the App or related services. Violations may result in immediate account suspension, permanent termination, reporting to law enforcement authorities, and/or civil or criminal legal action:

• Illegal Activity: Using the Nigama Connect application for any purpose that violates applicable local, state, national, or international laws, regulations, or statutes.
• False Information & Impersonation: Providing false, inaccurate, misleading, or fabricated information during registration or at any other point of use, or impersonating any real or fictional person, entity, or organization.
• Harassment & Abuse: Harassing, threatening, intimidating, bullying, stalking, or otherwise abusing, demeaning, or causing distress to other users of the platform, whether through messages, posts, or any other means available within the App.
• Harmful or Offensive Content: Posting, transmitting, or sharing any content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, harmful, threatening, abusive, hateful, or that violates the rights of any third party, including intellectual property rights and privacy rights.
• Unauthorized System Access: Attempting to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts, Nigama Connect's servers, databases, backend systems, or any related networks or infrastructure.
• Platform Manipulation: Using automated tools, bots, scripts, scrapers, crawlers, or any other unauthorized means to access, manipulate, monitor, or interfere with the normal operation of the Nigama Connect application or its servers.
• Data Harvesting: Systematically collecting, scraping, or harvesting personal data, contact information, or any other information belonging to other users of the platform without their explicit written consent.
• Fraud & Misrepresentation: Engaging in any fraudulent, deceptive, or manipulative activities within the App, including but not limited to misrepresentation in matrimony profiles, classifieds listings, job postings, or family tree information.
• Malicious Code: Uploading, transmitting, distributing, or otherwise introducing any viruses, worms, Trojan horses, ransomware, spyware, malware, or any other harmful or malicious software or code into the Nigama Connect platform.
• Commercial Spam: Sending unsolicited commercial communications, promotional messages, chain letters, or any form of spam to other users through the App's messaging system, notifications, or any other communication channel within the platform.
• Reverse Engineering: Attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise derive the source code or underlying algorithms of the Nigama Connect application or any of its components.
• Circumventing Security: Attempting to bypass, disable, or otherwise circumvent any security, access control, or authentication mechanisms implemented within the Nigama Connect platform.

Section 5: User-Generated Content & Profile Data

Nigama Connect allows users to post, upload, create, and share various types of content within the platform, including family tree data, personal profile information, event details, classified listings, matrimony profiles, photographs, documents, and chat messages. The following terms govern all user-generated content:

• User Responsibility: You are solely and entirely responsible for all content you post, upload, create, or transmit through the Nigama Connect application. Nigama Connect Private Limited does not proactively review, verify, or moderate all user-generated content in real time and is not responsible for any such content.
• Accuracy Warranty: You represent and warrant that all content you post is accurate, truthful, lawful, and does not infringe upon any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or personality rights.
• Content License: By posting any content on Nigama Connect, you grant Nigama Connect Private Limited a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to store, display, and use that content within the App solely for the purpose of providing the platform's services to you and other users. This license does not grant Nigama Connect ownership of your content.
• Content Ownership: You retain full ownership of all content you create and post on the platform. Nigama Connect Private Limited does not claim ownership of your personal data, photographs, family information, or any other user-generated content.
• Right to Remove: Nigama Connect Private Limited reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to remove, edit, or disable any content that violates these Terms, applicable laws, or our Community Guidelines, without prior notice to the user.
• No Liability for User Content: Nigama Connect Private Limited is not responsible for, and expressly disclaims all liability in connection with, any user-generated content posted, shared, or transmitted by users within the platform.

The Nigama Connect App provides full create, edit, and delete functionality for all user-generated content. It is the user's sole responsibility to use these tools diligently to ensure their data remains accurate, complete, and up-to-date at all times.

Section 6: Family Tree & User Data Responsibility

Nigama Connect provides a fully functional and feature-rich platform for users to create, manage, and maintain their family trees, event listings, matrimony profiles, classified posts, and other content. The following important data responsibility principles apply specifically to family tree management and related features:

User Responsibility for Family Tree Data

All information entered into the family tree — including but not limited to names, dates of birth, relationship types, gender, photographs, and any supporting documents of family members — is provided entirely and voluntarily by the user. Nigama Connect Private Limited does not independently verify, validate, cross-check, or assume any responsibility for the accuracy, completeness, or authenticity of this information.

When you add another person as a "temporary member" in your family tree (i.e., someone who does not yet have a registered Nigama Connect account), you are solely responsible for ensuring that you have the appropriate authority, permission, or consent to add that person's personal information to the platform.

Key Principles

• User Mistakes & Corrections: If a user makes any error in entering family tree data, event details, matrimony information, classified content, or any other data within the App — including but not limited to incorrect names, wrong dates of birth, incorrect relationship assignments, mismatched photographs, or accidental deletions — Nigama Connect Private Limited is not responsible for such errors. The App provides complete editing and deletion capabilities, and it is entirely the user's responsibility to manage their data accurately and responsibly.
• No Liability for Data Entry Errors: Nigama Connect Private Limited shall not be held liable for any consequences, losses, disputes, or damages arising from inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, or erroneous data entered by users into any feature of the App, including family trees, events, classifieds, matrimony profiles, or chat messages.
• Full Editing & Deletion Rights: Users retain full rights to edit, update, and delete any data they have entered into the platform, including family tree members (subject to tree integrity rules that prevent breaking parent-child structural links), event details, classified posts, and matrimony profiles at any time.
• Data Added About Others: When adding personal information about other individuals — such as family members, relatives, or friends — you represent and warrant that you are duly authorized to do so, that the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge, and that you have obtained any necessary consent from the individuals concerned.

Nigama Connect Private Limited is a platform provider. We supply the tools, infrastructure, and technology; you are entirely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and appropriateness of all data you enter about yourself and others. We strongly encourage all users to exercise care, diligence, and respect when adding personal information about other individuals.

Section 7: Intellectual Property Rights

All intellectual property rights in and to the Nigama Connect application — including but not limited to its design, visual interface, branding, logos, graphics, color schemes, typography, user interface elements, source code, proprietary algorithms, features, technical architecture, database structure, and all related documentation — are exclusively owned by or validly licensed to Nigama Connect Private Limited.

• You may not copy, reproduce, modify, adapt, translate, distribute, sell, sublicense, reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or create any derivative works based on any part of the Nigama Connect application without the prior explicit written permission of Nigama Connect Private Limited.
• The "Nigama Connect" name, logo, and associated brand identity are the trademarks and service marks of Nigama Connect Private Limited. Any unauthorized use of these trademarks is strictly prohibited and may give rise to legal action.
• Your personal content — including your personal data, photographs, family information, and other user-generated content — remains entirely your intellectual property. The non-exclusive license granted to Nigama Connect under Section 5 is strictly limited to providing the App's services and does not constitute a transfer or assignment of your intellectual property rights.
• Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you voluntarily provide to Nigama Connect regarding the App may be freely used by Nigama Connect Private Limited without any obligation of confidentiality, attribution, or compensation to you.

Section 8: Limitation of Liability & Disclaimer

Nigama Connect Private Limited operates as a technology platform provider that connects users within a digital family and community network. We are not responsible for, and expressly disclaim all liability in connection with, the following:

• User Disputes: Any disputes, disagreements, conflicts, legal claims, or interpersonal issues arising between users of the platform. Nigama Connect Private Limited is not a party to any interactions, communications, or transactions between users and shall not be involved in or responsible for resolving such disputes.
• Accuracy of User-Provided Data: We do not independently verify or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, truthfulness, or authenticity of any user-provided data, including matrimony profiles, classifieds listings, family tree entries, event details, or chat messages.
• User Data Entry Errors: Any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies arising from users entering, managing, or deleting their own data within the App. Users are solely and entirely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of their own content and data.
• Matrimony & Relationship Outcomes: Nigama Connect provides a platform to explore and initiate matrimony connections and community networking. We are not responsible for the outcomes, success, or failure of any relationships, meetings, agreements, or interactions formed through the platform, nor for the conduct of any user you connect with through the App.
• Third-Party Content & Links: The App may at times reference or contain links to third-party websites, services, or content. Nigama Connect Private Limited is not responsible for the privacy practices, terms, accuracy, or content of any such third-party resources.
• Force Majeure & Service Interruptions: We are not liable for any failure, delay, or interruption in service due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, power outages, internet service disruptions, cyberattacks, or acts of God.
• Indirect & Consequential Damages: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Nigama Connect Private Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages arising from or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Nigama Connect application or its services.

The Nigama Connect platform and all its services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. While we strive to deliver a reliable, secure, and high-quality experience, we do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, entirely secure, or free from technical defects at all times.

Section 9: Service Modifications & Account Termination

Nigama Connect Private Limited reserves the right to modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any part or all of the Nigama Connect application and its services at any time, with or without prior notice, for purposes including but not limited to scheduled maintenance, platform upgrades, security improvements, or other operational requirements.

• Account Suspension: Nigama Connect Private Limited may temporarily suspend your account if we have reasonable grounds to believe that you have violated these Terms & Conditions, engaged in fraudulent or harmful activity, posed a risk to the safety or integrity of other users, or are subject to an ongoing investigation.
• Account Termination: Nigama Connect Private Limited may permanently terminate your account for serious or repeated violations of these Terms, illegal conduct, harmful behaviour toward other users, or any activity that undermines the integrity or safety of the platform. Termination may be carried out without prior notice in cases of severe violations.
• User-Initiated Account Deletion: You may delete your own account at any time using the "Delete Account" feature available within the App's Account Settings. Upon deletion, all your personal data will be permanently erased from our active systems within 30 days, as described in our Privacy Policy.
• Effect of Termination: Upon termination of your account — whether initiated by you or by Nigama Connect Private Limited — your right to access and use the App and all its services ceases immediately and irrevocably. Data deletion will proceed in accordance with the procedures described in our Privacy Policy.
• No Liability for Termination: Nigama Connect Private Limited shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or termination of the App or your account, provided such action is taken in good faith and in accordance with these Terms.

Where circumstances permit, Nigama Connect Private Limited will endeavour to provide reasonable advance notice of significant service changes or account actions. However, in cases of serious, imminent, or ongoing violations, immediate action may be taken without prior notice.

Section 10: Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by, and shall be construed and enforced in accordance with, the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions or principles.

• Jurisdiction: Any disputes, claims, or controversies arising out of or in connection with these Terms & Conditions, the Nigama Connect application, or the services provided thereunder shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in India.
• Amicable Resolution: In the event of any dispute or disagreement arising from your use of the Nigama Connect platform, we strongly encourage you to first contact our Grievance Officer through the official support channels available within the App to seek an amicable, good-faith resolution before initiating any formal legal proceedings.
• Applicable Laws: These Terms & Conditions are subject to, and to be read in conjunction with, the following applicable Indian legislation: the Information Technology Act 2000 and its amendments, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDP Act), the Consumer Protection Act 2019, the Indian Contract Act 1872, and any other applicable Indian laws and regulations as amended from time to time.
• International Users: If you access the Nigama Connect application from a jurisdiction outside India, you are solely responsible for ensuring your compliance with all applicable local laws and regulations. By using the App, you irrevocably agree that Indian law shall govern these Terms & Conditions regardless of your location or the location from which you access the App.
• Waiver: No failure or delay by Nigama Connect Private Limited in exercising any right or remedy under these Terms shall constitute a waiver of that right or remedy. A waiver of any breach of these Terms shall not be deemed a waiver of any subsequent breach.

Section 11: Contact Information & Grievance Redressal

Nigama Connect Private Limited is committed to resolving user concerns promptly, fairly, and transparently. In accordance with the Information Technology Act 2000, the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules 2021, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, we have formally designated a Grievance Officer responsible for addressing all user complaints, reports, and data-related concerns.

How to Reach Us

• In-App Support: Navigate to Account Settings → Help & Support within the Nigama Connect application to access the official support email and submit your concern.
• Data Requests: Requests for data access, correction, portability, or deletion may be submitted through the App or via the official support email. All verified requests will be processed within 30 days of receipt.
• Content Reporting: If you encounter content within the App that you believe violates these Terms or applicable law, please use the in-app reporting feature or contact our Grievance Officer directly.
• Escalation: If your concern is not resolved to your satisfaction within the stipulated timeframe, you have the right to escalate the matter to the Data Protection Board of India or any other competent regulatory authority having jurisdiction over the matter.

We value the trust you place in us and are committed to addressing your concerns with transparency, urgency, and fairness. Your feedback is essential to helping us build a safer, more trustworthy, and more reliable platform for the entire Nigama Connect community.

Legal Notice

This Terms & Conditions document constitutes a legally binding agreement between you and Nigama Connect Private Limited. By using the Nigama Connect application, you agree to be bound by these Terms in their entirety. Nigama Connect Private Limited reserves the right to amend or update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after the effective date of any revised Terms constitutes your full acceptance of the updated agreement.
